Over the years our pill boxes and dosage systems have been a daily help for people to manage their daily and weekly medication, supplements, and vitamins. They have been standard for many years especially in home care and nursing homes. Their discreet and user-friendly design makes it easy for both private and professionals to maintain a well-structured everyday life.<\/p>\n

Our products are generally developed and designed for people who needs to take pills daily. Therefore, we haven\u2019t really considered how they might also be beneficial for our furry friends. That changed when Katrina and her lovely dog, Zilla, got in touch. For about a month now, Katrina has been organizing Zilla\u2019s medication and supplements in our Medidos week set, and they are now ready to share their experiences with us.<\/p>\n

Katrina lives on the West Coast with her 12-year-old Dalmatian, Zilla. Although Zilla is a senior dog, she enjoys a healthy and active life. She takes daily medication for arthritis, which Katrina supplements with vitamins distributed throughout the day for optimal effect. In the course of a day, Zilla needs four tablets.<\/p>\n

Katrina organizes Zilla\u2019s medication and vitamin supplements in Medidos No. 1, which is ideal to organize a small to moderate number of pills per week, and thus well-suited for Zilla\u2019s needs. The set consists of a vinyl cover with seven individual pill boxes, one for each day of the week. Each pill box has three removable dividers that can be adjusted to accommodate pills of different sizes and dosing needs. In addition, the dividers create four pill compartments, which are marked \u2018Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Bedtime\u2019.<\/p>\n

Our products are not directly aimed at animals, and so we were curious to hear what made Katrina consider that they might be beneficial for Zilla and the family\u2019s daily life:<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to think daily about what dose Zilla needs both in the morning and in the evening. If other family members want to give her the medication or her supplements, they have to ask me. With the pill boxes, they no longer need to ask me about the dosage. Now everyone in the family knows what medicine she needs and when \u2013 it has become much simpler and more manageable. And the transparent material makes it easier to keep track.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a busy day-to-day life, it can be hard to remember if we remembered to take our pill \u2013 especially when several people are involved, and the pills need to be taken throughout the day. With a weekly dosage system, the whole family can easily be involved without having to first ask Katrina.Katrina has<\/p>\n

previous experience with another pill box for Zilla:<\/p>\n

\u201c’I previously used another type of pill box, which I primarily used when we were going on trips or traveling. But its compartments were too small for Zilla’s pills, and unfortunately, they couldn\u2019t be adjusted. That is why the Medidos week set is perfect because I can adjust the compartments myself, so they fit Zilla’s needs.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of the advantages of the Medidos week set is precisely the adjustable compartments. Pills come in different sizes and shapes, so even if you only take four a day, your morning dose might need more space than the one in the evening. Also, the individual boxes are secured with a click closure, so you can easily take individual boxes with you in your bag if, for example, you are going on an outing.<\/p>\n

The folder’s convenient size also makes it easy if you are going on a longer trip or traveling:<\/p>\n

\u201cI have already recommended the week set to others. It works perfectly and helps in many situations. For example, when we are going on a trip where Zilla unfortunately can\u2019t come and has to be cared for by friends for family.\u201d<\/p>\n

If your furry best friend needs to be looked after by friends, family or maybe at a kennel, you can relax knowing that their medication and supplements are easily and clearly managed.<\/p>\n

Whether you have a dog, cat, horse, children, or something else, the pill boxes might help you in your daily life.
